What does say your urine color ?

 

 

Most of us don’t give much attention to our pee before we flush it out of sight. But the details of your urine can give you a hint about what’s going on inside your body.

Your kidneys make urine , when they filter toxins and other bad stuff from your blood.

Urine of healthy person ranges from yellow to deep amber color.

The color of urine is  generated  due to presence of urochrome , uroerithrin & urobilin.

Also it is depend on the water intake …

If you intake more water , urine color take light color due to due to dilution of yellow pigments urine & when you drink less  it take deep amber color . Also severe dehydration make amber color urine.

 

 

However some other pigments and certain food items , such as Beets, berries and fava beans , as well as many over counter & prescribed  medications can change urine color.

 

most of the time this unusual urine color can be a sign of specific health problem , so it provides really good clue to disease diagnosis process

Clear urine -

clear urine indicate that you’re drinking more than the daily recommended amount of water.  If your urine is occasionally clear nothing to worry , but if it always clear you need to cut back your water intake.

Deep yellow color urine -

Most of the time over concentrated urine , due to dehydration.

Clear red color urine -

this condition occurs due to hemoglobinuria …also this is prominent due to presence of myoglobin and in urine with people who engage in strenuous exercise

Also some food intake such as beet , black berry or some medications can be the reason.

 

Cloudy red color urine -

this may be due to hematuria  , we can see due to  presence of RBC , in sickle cell disease or thalassemia

Orange color urine -

most of the time  we can see due to chemotheraphic agent or laxatives.

Deep red to brown color urine -

Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetur adipiscing elit. Ut elit tellus, luctus nec ullamcorper mattis, pulvinar dapibus leo.

Blue color urine -

positive due to benign hypercalemia or hartnup disease.

Dark brown urine -

Occur in the presence of melanin pigment , especially in melanoma condition and  due to presence of bilirubin in liver diseases

Green color urine –

we can see due to urinary tract infections , remember specially in pseudomonas infections. It is very common condition in infants . Also some food  & medications can cause this green color .
